'Norway in a Nutshell' is one of the most popular round trips in Norway. Sold through NSB (the Norwegian Railway), it takes you through some of the loveliest scenery in Fjord Norway. We started in Oslo, taking the train to Myrdal. There we changed trains to the Flåm line, which goes almost straight down the mountainside. In Flåm, we got on the Express ferry to go through Aurlandsfjord and Nærøyfjord, both arms of Sognefjord, Norway's longest fjord. Arriving at Gudvangen, we take a bus up the mountain on the Stalheimskleivane with 13 hairpin turns and spectacular views. The bus let us off at Voss, where we continued to Bergen by train.
